In Bordeaux we visited the museum of modern art,
with an exhibition on Renzo Piano. the three top pictures
are the maquette for centre culturel jean-marie Tjibaou
in new caledonia. this is definitely my favorite creation
of him. you can find the end result here.

ReplyDeleteJa MSK met Gustave is wel de moeite vind ik, vind zijn werk wel super, er zijn wel enkele schilderijen die ik hier thuis wil ophangen.
uh don't get me started with Mr Piano! I'm from Genova...and we have a love/hate relationship with him!(he's from Genova too and he lives there, but the things he created for his town are not so good...I wonder why?)

@ la casita: i never knew.. too bad... he probably tried out lots of ideas in his hometown, making a lot of mistakes. Hopefully he makes up with Genova someday.
