i didn't know jan vanriet yet, but i'm glad i finally do!
i'm very intrigued by his paintings. I found out he has
a large show in the KMSKA right now. i look forward
to seeing more.
i just bought tickets to go and see the music group Beirut this summer!
i finally managed to pick up my new shoes at the post office.
I'm so happy with them, had to try them immediately,
strolled along the river.
- you can find them here at goldenponies
this weekend we've seen the largest collection of modern
art at artbrussels. The set of paintings in the middle is by
christoph ruckhäberle. it was one of my favorites. I'll show
you some more things i discovered soon.
while driving there we passed the atomium... we both had
to admit we had never been there before, it's like a french
person who has never been to the eiffeltower (which we
have both seen). I must say the eiffeltower was a little
more spectacular.
my interest is going towards beautiful houses lately, been
collecting tons of pictures. My boyfriend suddenly began
looking for appartments, and i'm trying to convince
him that a house is more like a place of your own...
- this beautiful french house came from the five senses, the metal and the wood...
- crochet summershoes by beklina. I also love this pullover,
you've probably seen it at allthemountains.
the easterbunny came a little too late this year. must have
miscalculated. this morning there were eastereggs all
over the floor.
(must admit it was just because the satchel with eggs
had a hole in it)

from 1 till 8 may, we're organising 'Docville', the documentary filmfestival in leuven. I got to see some of the films we'll be
playing in premiere. I really loved 'Bedankt & Merci' about
little village-cafés that are slowly fading away. The slow
images are brilliant.
has any of you ever read this story of moby dick?
it's a classic, but i don't know if it's widely read in europe.
I'm very curious about it.

i would love to find a wooden house like this in belgium,
they are so lovely! And often much more colorful
than brick houses.
some architectural inspiration for my architecture-studying sister.
I love these complex wooden structures, they seem so light.
