little man

this week i started building a model for an event to come.
It's not easy, working with such fine material in a very small
scale, but it will be allright in the end. It's fun to measure
out and try positions while building.

3

three years ago me and my boyfriend met in Paris. He
celebrates the 20th of june, because that day we had our
cliché first kiss under the Eiffel Tower. I celebrate the
21st, because it sounds much better, combined with the
first day of summer :). He is going a little crazy these
last days, calling at the door with flowers, the next day
he paid a visit to Marcolini, where up to now only my
eyes had ever taken a taste. I enjoy the crazyness :)

little people

little people always makes me smile. Wish there would be
more street artists in Antwerp, i love these discoveries.

Last week i visited the village Doel, that is going to be
destroyed to enlarge the antwerp harbour. It is amazing
to walk around in that village now. It has become an art village
with grafitti art covering the village houses. A very strange
but somewhat poetic place. Like post-apocalyptic.
A sense of unease and love at first sight at a time.

an early glimps on her too :)

fontable

- fontable at outdoors gallery.

Two out of 3 exams went well. I enjoyed the rest of the day
at a restaurant with fellow students, discussing, relaxing,
talking typography, blaming teachers... I was a little
emotional when i just came home, because this will be the
last time i saw them. Studying together makes a bond.

graphic design students could interview some of the best
type designers. All is bundled in this book. You can read
one of the interviews, with René Knip whom i admire, online.

I hope i have all the answers today. I have 3 exams in a few hours.
