running on diaghilev's ballet russe. I loved these costumes
designed by picasso.

If you ever visit London, definitely stroll through
these streets. You'll find this is the other side of London
you were looking for (at least i was).
Labour and Wait is at 85 Redchurch Street
and 18 Cheshire Street, both worth a visit.

this shop is absolutely my favorite on etsy now!
They have the most original vintage items and i love the
handmade huge wooden helvetica-letters they're selling.
They have a blog too on hindsvik.com

i saw Hernán Paganini's prints on little paper planes.
I will show some of his installations, because they are beautiful too.

i'm usually not really into gadgets, but i really like the
handy idea and simplicity of this calendar. At work i
always scribble and write everywhere :)

my sister and i visited the pop up store of atelier solar shop.
It's a beautiful place! Pop in if you're close to the Antwerp
station. Kaat bought shoes from miami and i took this beautiful
handkerchief home with me.
(you can also see Renilde's cushions on the chairs)

i'm a little distracted from blogging this week.
next sunday we're having a huge flowerparade in our
village and we're still very busy building. I'm so
nervous that I have bitten all my fingernails again...
Anyway, the end-result will look something like this,
but this time we're making a 17-meter-long octopus.

the name Renaat Braem showed up in the corner of a
painting, enough for a search on the internet and this result.
Braem was a modernist architect, inspired by constructivism
and starting his career with an internship at le Corbusier's
atelier. There's a large exhibition on Braem in the Singel in
Antwerp soon.
